Goal of the Club
The main goal of the club is to provide health (mental and physical) for children and adults through water activities.
Activities
M.A.S.C. offers aquatic programs for any age and level. The programs have their competitive and recreational character. The club also offers most of the Canadian Red Cross and NLS aquatic programs — Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, etc.
Training
Each swimming training is devoted to the creation of superior swimming technique and will usually include the following components:
- swimming strategies
- stroke analysis
- starts and turns
- breathing and timing patterns
- body balance and alignment drills.
Fun
Although, programs are taught seriously this does not mean your child can’t have fun along the way. Coaches provide positive recognition for improvement and effort as well as encourage children to learn more, remember more, and want to learn more. Every swimmer is individually approached and provided with wide range of valuable experiences that reach far beyond the pool.
